Every bit as innovative and customizable as Hennig`s dressage saddles, we thought we`d offer our customers with crossover interests the opportunity to own the jumping version of Jochen`s famously comfortable Sofa Leather saddle. It is infinitely adjustable to fit any shape horse. The recessed flaps fit your stirrup leathers nicely, eliminating bulk under your leg. The moveable thigh block allows amazing support right where you want it, or remove it completely for a classic close-contact feel. Available in Brown. Black available by special order.

Jochen Hennig is today`s most innovative and cutting edge saddlemaker in the world. His patented tree design provides uniform weight distribution and the best communication between rider and horse. His state of the art tree design has allowed for the maximum freedom of movement for the horse. There is no impingement of the shoulder movement because the tree points are angled back and the flap of the saddle is cut back. The tree is adjustable by our qualified saddlers allowing for a customized fit to any horse. Reverse buffalo leather is used on seats, thigh blocks and padded flaps. This leather is extremely soft, long wearing and naturally adds grip. Choose outer thigh blocks or regular hidden thigh blocks. Custom options include double soft leather on flaps or buffalo leather throughout with double soft flaps. Wool flocked panels and long billlets.

A poorly fitting saddle may cause many back problems including injury to
